Testify Talent is a skills assessment start-up that helps HR leaders in city and county government agencies hire the right candidates based on their abilities. The company was created to offer a better, more flexible solution in a field where traditional services can be slow or outdated. Testify Talent’s goal is to make the hiring process easier and more effective for local agencies. I worked on designing the brand for their website and web app to match their innovative and user-friendly approach.

Solution: A modern, professional brand identity that included a clean, intuitive design for the website and web app. This helped Testify Talent convey their fresh approach and connect with their target audience more effectively.

I started by sketching a few different ideas for the logo, trying to find the right mix of modern and professional. These rough sketches helped me explore different directions for how Testify Talent could visually represent their brand.
After collaborating with the client, we narrowed it down to a logo incorporating a multiple-choice icon, maintaining the company’s focus on assessments. I created digital black-and-white versions of this logo concept. I played around with different fonts and shapes, aiming for a clean and memorable design that matched the company’s focus on innovation.
I designed the final logo to work in different layouts and sizes, including a simplified brandmark for smaller screens and other purposes. I made sure each version stayed true to the overall look and feel of the brand. For colors, I chose a palette that balanced bold, modern tones with a sense of trust. The goal was to make the brand feel fresh and approachable while still being professional enough for HR leaders.
I created a style tile that included the final logo, color palette, font choices, and button examples. This helped ensure that all future design elements for the website and web app would stay consistent with the brand’s identity.
